Our Story - Introducing Snugi to the UK

As a mother of two energetic boys, I was searching for a pair of slippers—that could worn both inside and outside, promoting natural foot development.

It seemed like every option on the market was more focused on the marketing of the latest TV show rather than the health and growth of little feet.

This is when I discovered Snugi slippers.

Snugi slippers and aqua shoes are crafted with natural growth and comfort in mind. Snugi slippers are designed to be durable, breathable, and supportive, making them the perfect choice for kids' everyday adventures.

My mission is now to give parents the same peace of mind I experienced, ensuring every step your children take is supported by the best possible footwear. Snugi slippers are more than just slippers; they are a commitment to healthy, natural foot development and endless smiles.

How it all started

Driven by a mother's desire to give the very best to her children and every other child, ensuring their health and best start in development, Snugi began with Maja and her husband Anže. They couldn't find breathable, washable slippers for their son Žan, so Maja decided to sew them herself. Their innovative design quickly gained attention from stores across Slovenia, and Snugi was born.

Today, Snugi remains a family-run business, handmade in Slovenia by a group of dedicated mothers and two sets of very supportive fathers' hands, committed to providing the highest quality footwear for healthy foot development.

We use high-quality materials sourced from the EU, including:

Microfibre: Soft, durable, and machine washable.
Wool Felt: Regulates body temperature, combating sweat and fungi.
Cotton: Breathable, absorbent, and skin-friendly.
Merino Wool: Keeps feet cool in summer and warm in winter.
Colourful Fabric: OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, breathable, and easy to maintain.
